Roz and I met and the property, she gave great advice on what work was needed to get the property ready for sale. She was aware and respected the budget we had. Having used Roz previously I was more than happy for her to run with her design vision. We went for Contemporary design with hints of mid century modern. “I had a house in Petone. Lots of Potential, very sound, but had not been redecorated apart from bathrooms since the 80s. A stylistic Lead balloon.
I considered the options: redecorate minimally, or go the whole hog. Either way, I needed help, I am not an artist. I looked at the market for decorating knowledge, market success and home staging prowess. We took the house apart and put it back together over just under three months. Did it work? Well… The house sold for almost 1/4 million more than the highest previous price in the street. The agents were gob-smacked. All the cost was repaid by more than triple profit over the original purchase price.
Roz spent weeks helping with fine details, choosing perfect fittings, advising details and motivating. During the staging part, she ensured that the place looked absolutely stunning, including flowers and amazing personal touches that made the house look lived in.
Would I recommend Roz? I’m relaxing on the deck with a wine and a pile of money, of course I would.
